A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Iliana! In the spring of my junior year, I made the leap to switch my concentration from Creative Advertising to Interactive Design—a decision fueled by my passion for creating accessible, empathetic, and human-centered user experiences. I’m driven by a desire to craft designs that genuinely connect with people and make a difference. Now, as I approach graduation, I’m eager to take my skills into the real world and gain hands-on experience designing impactful solutions.

Work Experience

August 2024- Present

June 2023-August 2023

As a server and bartender at Mashita, a popular Korean restaurant in my college town, I had the opportunity to enhance my customer service skills while immersing myself in a vibrant culinary culture. This experience taught me the importance of teamwork and effective communication, as I worked closely with a diverse team to ensure each guest had a memorable dining experience. I also developed a deeper appreciation for Korean cuisine which has enriched my understanding of my own culture and its culinary traditions. Overall, my time at Mashita was a valuable part of my journey.

As the sole Retail Sales Associate at Spread Market & Larder from June to August 2023 in Nashville, TN, I was the main shopkeeper responsible for pricing, stocking, and ensuring a smooth operation. I helped customers with product inquiries and provided recommendations on artisan goods, wines, and bakery items to enhance their shopping experience. Additionally, I efficiently managed the cash and daily sales reports while maintaining organized displays. My commitment to exceptional customer service helped build rapport with regular patrons and elevate their overall satisfaction.

May 2022- August 2022

As a Legal Clerk I at PRA Group from May to August 2022, I played a pivotal role in maintaining and organizing litigation materials, ensuring efficient processing of correspondence, and performing various clerical duties, including filing, copying, and assembling court packages. I prepared accounts for civil legal action by e-filing and generating all necessary plead. Additionally, I utilized Microsoft Excel for process serving and batch coding through the CLS coding program, contributing to the smooth operation of the legal department.
